in the lime light...

So as I mentioned Beau's sis got married recently. Rather than go with traditional flowers for centerpieces we made some really cool lime centerpieces. Very summery, fresh, bright and cheery. Plus they served Mexican food so the centerpieces went with the theme.

Anyway lime centerpieces at a wedding of close to 300 people meant tons of leftover limes. So in addition to some delicious strawberry limeade which was gone before I could even get my camera out, I also dug around for some lime dessert options.






I found a delicious West African lime cake recipe online and I couldn't wait to try it. Sure enough it was every bit as delicious as the reviews said.
